Pairing it goes very well with savoury first courses, meat main courses, aged cheeses and grilled fish.
Intense ruby red color, ample bouquet with a slight herbaceous component mixed with hints of raspberry, blackberry, cherry and violet; the taste is soft, with good structure and pleasant tannins. Make it a very fine and elegant wine.
Vinification with cryomaceration of the crushed grapes and fermentation at a controlled temperature in steel, soft pressing
Aging in steel with micro-oxygenation, aging in small French oak barrels for 12 months and permanence in the bottle before being put on the market
The Senatore family is known, in the winemaking area of Cirò wine, as an ancient witness of passion, competence and tradition.
The heritage of the Company is represented from 40 hectares of which about 30 suited to vineyard producing DOP and IGP wines and is divided into four large fields, all present in the DOP area. The vineyards are carefully cultivated using state of the art techniques, with the ongoing scientific consultancy of qualified universities.
The result is a synergic and balanced approach that respects the environment.
