Aldo Vajra, together with his wife Milena and his three children Isidoro, Francesca and Giuseppe, has created a model winery: environmentally friendly agriculture, very high quality at low prices, love and passion are just some of the aspects that characterize this splendid reality. Piedmontese. The philosophy that guides the choices of the Vajra family is based on respect for tradition, which is why the wines of the cellar perfectly reflect the terroir of the Langhe: classic wines, deep, tied to the land and at the same time of great immediacy. Vajra, however, is not only tradition, but also a varietal and territorial laboratory: in fact, in its range, in addition to the great Barolos, we find experiments such as Riesling Renano and Freisa. Recently, after the acquisition of the properties of Luigi Baudana, the historic lands of Bricco delle Viole and Vergne have been added to those of Serralunga.

The Vajra winery's vineyards are a small masterpiece, built step by step with care and patience. Attention to each phase of the vegetative cycle is absolute, from pruning to the management of the foliage, in full respect of the environment, without the use of chemicals. The reason for all this is explained by the Vaira family's own words: «We follow the work of our vineyards directly, because it is the basis of uncompromising quality, but above all because we like it so much. Our wines are born elegant, complex, delicate. They have the identity and personality that we would like to find in every glass on our table ". Love, attention and passion for one's work give life to unique wines, mirroring the beautiful part of Italy represented by the Langhe.
