The Castellare di Castellina winery was born from the passion and intuition of Paolo Panerai and represents one of the most successful companies in Tuscany. Since the 1970s it has benefited from the invaluable contribution of Alessandro Cellai, agronomist and oenologist, the true driving force of the company.

The direct relationship between the Castellare winery and the territory is wisely blended with a constant search for innovation and quality, with the aim of producing bottles of absolute value. The objective, judging by the numerous awards obtained by Castellare wines, has been fully achieved and has brought this Tuscan reality to the top of Italian production. Sodi di San Niccolò is the most important wine produced by Castellare, a wine that has been able to obtain the maximum ratings from all the main guides. It is a union of Sangiovese, in large part, with Malvasia Nera, the two native vines on which Castellare bases all its business.

In addition to this historic bottle, Castellare di Castellina produces a Chianti of the highest level, also multi-award-winning and recognized among the best of its type. The labels that appear on the bottles have become famous and reproduce, year after year, specimens of endangered birds. The point that unites all the bottles of Castellare is the elegance that the wine can release in the glass, an elegance that combines an extraordinary level of quality with a very close bond with its land. All that remains is to savor a sip of wine and let yourself be conquered by the excellence that envelops your palate: this is the quickest and tastiest way to understand the greatness of Castellare wines.
