In 1958 nineteen members founded the cooperative in the castle of Barbaresco, under the guidance of the great Novello Cavazza, pioneer of the vine of the same name and discoverer of the Barbaresco crus. Today the winery is led by Aldo Vacca and Gianni Testa and has over one hundred hectares planted with Nebbiolo in the municipality of Barbaresco, brought as a dowry by fifty-two historic contributing members.
The great quality of the wines, of rigorous classicist expression, is truly impeccable: this is because all the contributing members have undertaken a training process together that has led the cooperative to establish very strict rules, especially as regards phytosanitary treatments, which must be carried out. with pre-established products.
These measures, supported by great expertise, have ensured that the labels express a truly impressive character and uniqueness of flavors. These elements make the cellar of the Producers of Barbaresco one of the most serious and important realities of the whole Barbaresco area, without forgetting the extraordinary relationship between quality and price.
