The Domenico Clerico winery was founded in 1978 in Monforte d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, when Domenico inherited from his father 3 hectares of vineyards and a small farm which until then had limited itself to cultivating vines and fruit trees. Domenico, in love with his land and aware of his enormous potential, decides to start producing wine in his own country, giving life to one of the most virtuous realities of the Langhe.
In 1977 Domenico Clerico bought a small vineyard in the heart of Bussia, then in 1983 another in the Ginestra cru and in '95 a third vineyard in the Mosconi cru. Domenico bought vineyards in the best crus of the area, in order to obtain extraordinary Barolos.
The wines of the Domenico Clerico winery are extraordinary Barolos, all different from each other, which faithfully reflect the characteristics of the terroirs from which they come, such as Ciabot Mentin, Pajana, Percristina and Aeroplanservaj. A lot of effort, a lot of work in the vineyard and in the cellar and an unshakable enthusiasm in wanting to do better and better lead the Cantina di Domenico Clerico to excel in the national wine scene and to impose its fantastic wines worldwide.
