Rosato di Martinella Etna Rosato doc is a wine of important minerality, which recalls the characteristics of the lava soil. But it is much more: the aromas are delicate, not at all intrusive, with notes of pomegranate and raspberry, peach and banana. In the mouth one should not expect only the minerality, but the structure, the softness that comes from a rosé made with only Nerello mascalese. Therefore the tannin, typical of this variety, is present and gives it a structure out of the ordinary for a rosé, making it a table wine, an important wine that can be expressed more and more with the aging in the bottle. The grapes obviously all come from the Martinella district, therefore it is a wine from the district, from a single vineyard. It was produced by maceration with the skins in a vacuum press and then vinified in white always with the idea of enhancing the quality of the work done in the vineyard as much as possible, working only with grapes of excellent quality.
Vivera is a small family-run winery, based in the Contrada Martinella, in the municipality of Linguaglossa, in the province of Catania. We are located on the slopes of the great Etna volcano, where, in 2003, the adventure of the Vivera family began. Right from the start, they moved towards quality viticulture, studied, conceived and created in every smallest detail, because only through careful analysis and programming it's possible to create bottles of personality.
